Widen Sky & Country Side - Kotilingeshwara

Misty mountains, cool winds and Cloudy weather with minimal rains perfect mood to touch and smell the rubber burn on the National Highway 44 along with my Tutli. Yes it was charming and rocking time we had on 30th July for Add to dictionary trip.

On the way to temple Beautiful country yard side.
About this place, it’s surrounded by the famous town of Kolar once known for Gold Mining perhaps the only Gold Mining field in INDIA. But since now all mines has been closed down. The town is known as Milk city due to large numbers of Co-Operative producers of Milks.
Hmmm enough of Wiki’s about KOLAR. Let’s start the trip.

We started at 7:00 am sharp from Bangalore but in reality I was preparing this since last night means from Sat  as usual I was very excited since after almost 4 years I was about to drive my WagonR in highway since left in my Home Town but Ambika knows how much i love my Splendor and WagonR and that’s why finally on May 28th 2017 she reached to Bangalore.

So here is the first snap when we touched NH75 it’s was blistering winds and nature was at it’s best colors. On the way to Kolar Highway

The skylines were shining like they are welcoming on behalf of Angels. Yes that what i felt when crossed the city limit and thought to stretch the engine to max 80 km/h speed.
The TechM  logo remained me WE LIVE YOUNG , WE LIVE FREE the famous Mahindra AD where Rise means Free. And it was the exact feeling when i was driving on this beautiful national Highway towards countryside.

The highway sidelines were full of beautiful yellow flowers adding charm to your driving side.
We didn’t stopped anywhere as our stomach didn’t allowed it to refuel  Guddi was busy on scenery and adding Punchline “Papa kya nazara hai” we stopped for while has taken some snaps when entered into country side.

Above the large Granite rocks always rocking since ages....
Two beautiful things in my life. Point to be noted number still belongs to Jharkhand  JH05 my Jamshedpur TATA STEEL

Finally, we reached to temple at 9:00 AM giving us opportunity to park our vehicle in very ample place as it was Sunday and entire Bangalore roams around the city
The First snap of huge Shiva lingams gives you Goosebumps about thought of Adisakti Mahadev , The Great Yogi of this world. There are many small lingams installed by peoples for their family , relatives , friends etc..
NANDI

IT"S LAND OF SHIVA

I also spotted two Shiva Lingams installed for two great personality of South Cinema by their fans.

ONE AND ONLY SUPER STAR RAJNI NEERUPADDAA !

First one need no introduction the only Super Star of Planet our beloved Rajni sir (I’m great Fan ) and other is milestone The Kamal Hassan Sir.
Yes you got it right :) SUPER STAR Rajni

The place only contains lot’s of Shivlingams that’s why they called it Koti-Lingeshwara means crores and crores of Shivlingams .  There is actual huge shivling near to which is shown here.

After spending much time here it was 11 am and we thought we should now  return. It’s was great journey and feeling driving through out countryside of Karnataka. I must acknowledge that Karnataka Govt really built Great Roads even on the Village area’s. Through out the way the road condition was excellent. On return we followed the same route which we followed to reach temple. Thanks for reaching out here will add more about next trip .

Route we followed: Via NH 75 only
Baangalore (Marathalli) > Hoskote  >  Bethmangala >  Temple

Note : You have to stay on NH75 only to take service road for U Turn and then right towards Bethmangla road (SH 95) don’t enter in Kolar town which is shown on left side service road sign when you will near the township.

Now the Travelnomics:
Fuel : Petrol
Mileage at 80 km/h
Pit stop : None
Car : Maruti WagonR LXi

Bye for now will update the next trip very soon... Abhishek
