These were the words from Venky on 7th November , so he was on mood to drive with his Black Beauty yess ROYAL ENFIELD.

FLAG OFF  at HSR LAYOUT at 4 AM

I was also excited as after Kerela Trip no long trips except Leepakshi Temple. We were excited and hopefully everyone was excited including Kapil , Amit and Venkatesh also. It's 21st Dec and I went to Kapil home early morning to discuss the final draft plan. We started and locked into again my Favorite Western Ghats ride. Yes the Ghats , Scenery and lot of fun just chills me whenever we plans for western Ghats trips. So we locked again for Western Ghats via:

Bengaluru ~ Hassan ~ Sakleshpur~Kukke Subramanya ~ Dharamsthla ~ Charmadi Ghat ~ Chikmangalore ~ Bangalore

It's now winter in Bangalore and Christmas holiday's just I had the Leppakshi Temple trip with Pramod my friend. And after Leepakshi it's again Grand Trip after trip to BekalFort which we completed during DurgaPuja.

For me life is short let's streach it by pressing the pedal's :) So as usual we started at 4:00 AM and here is first shot. [Venky's Queen with my Gudia ]

We reached Neelmangla Toll gate and impressed to see that entire Bangalore came on Highway.

So in reality our Journey towards holiday started exactly after 9:00 AM only. And now Highway started , Lush Green Roads with all the way filled with Coconut Tree on road side. Natures changed the color of same highway a lot when we traveled on same road 3 months before.

And after driving somewhere after 70 km here was out first Break , Tender coconut water and some photography.

So after driving a lot we reached our Breakfast destination and yes It's KAMAT's their ground was fully filled with cars coming from Bangalore side only.

Crossing all the way towards Hassan finally crossed the Right turn towards Shrvanbegola where we had gone in October, places are much changed in 3 months. Dry as Grass , Grey shades clearly shows that WESTERN GHATS magic has gone and nature is changing it's colors very rapidly.

With this ups and down finally we reached to place called Manjarbad Fort built by Tiger Tipu Sultan. When last time we crossed this place we had no idea how beautiful this place was but never the less we stopped our cars here and started going towards forts.

It's Magnetic place just imagined that how much beautiful this place must be in monsoon. Soon the photo session started in full swing. 

We spend around 2-3 hours here and it's time to proceed towards our next destination Bisele Ghat Point as planned but till this points it's already 6 PM so we thought to have directly go to Kukke our Hotel Stay.

So we gone directly towards Kukke. After so much of uncomfortable roads finally the JET SPEED road started and in no time without losing any seconds i pressed the accelerator and WagonR started in JET SPEED,

We reached Hotel Vijay Comforts at approx 7 PM and Wow the Hotel. It's alone of it's kind there. Guddi was extremely happy and playing there.

We quickly rushed into our rooms and suddenly called by Venky that imdt we have to go to Temple for Darshan as Gate is closing by 9 PM. Quickly we gone towards temple and

Wow that the word which came out when we saw that Temple. It's dedicated to Lord Shiva (Sheshnag). Luckily we had a chance to see the procession being celebrated in temple.

 I noticed being proximity to Kerela Temple design is excat same what we generally see in Kerela.

Any way luckily we did the darshan of lord Sheshnag and done.

After Darshan we  finished our dinner at near by Hotel only and called it for day.

Now Day-02 : Towards Dharamshthla & Sringeri

We has no idea what is beautiful place this Kukke is looking in misty cold morning. Here i will not write too much pics speaks it self.

We started at 8:00 AM from Kukke and reached Dharamsthla at 10:30 AM. Dharamsthla is very sacred place in North Karnataka and crowd speaks this word.

Venky told us that it's very heavy rush here and will take another 8 to 9 hours for Darshan. Having no time left we decided to Pay our respect to Lord Manjunathswara and proceed towards Sringeri Math

We reached Sringeri approx 4 PM and first filled our stomach with Heavy snacks and Dosa. meanwhile Amit decided to Good Bye the trip as he has to Join the office on next day. He booked the Bus ticket for Bengaluru from Sringeri it self and called off for day.

We booked nice hotel in Sringeri again since it's was the night stay. Evening we gone towards sringeri temple and had some clicks after that Venky dropped amit for Bus stand. Now we are 4 peoples left only. We had a dinner and then called it for the day.

Day-3 Sringeri Temple and Charmadi Ghats and Return Towards Bengaluru

 

So finally the day came the last day of Year 2017 and We saw the temple and River Tunga where lots of fish was there and feeded by peoples using Puffed rice.

Guddi was very excited and done lot's of masti there. With heavy heart we finally decided to say good bye to place and started our return journey towards Bangalore. Fuel tank one more time charged although still it's Half tank showing in Gauge.

We crossed Charmadi Ghat section and captured very beautiful scenes. We reached ghat top view point approx 1 PM there and decided to have final clicks because from here on wards we have to start return journey towards bengaluru

After charmadi ghat we proceeded towards Chikmangalore route to reach Hassan and then Bengaluru.

We stopped at Chikmangalore at approx 3:00 PM had our lunch and decided to non-stop drive towards Bangalore as it's now almost 4 to avoid traffic.

Finally using NICE junction road we reached home by 10:30 PM since we had no dinner so kapil and venky packed the Jumbo Paratha from Kapoor's cafe from HSR layout. With this all memories finally trip came to end. Guddi already sleeping in her sweet dreams. I parked my Gudia (WagonR) in her home place. And ended the Trip Meter.

For me it's was special trip since it's last time Kapil roamed as Bachelor with me. And Venky the tiger took the best shots using his NIKON. Don't know when you guys will again come with me or not. Missed Amit Presence in Car through out the rest return journey as we developed great gala during all the time. Specially Guddi missed his uncle. But life gives you chance only once to live it each time with different colors and enthusiasm . So Good Bye and thanks to reading this. Next trip will be more i hope.... :) Bye ...
